WE BUILD THE BEST & REPAIR THE REST!™
|
Tony & Shane not only make superior and longer lasting
wetsuits, they also make what they call 'a heater'. Kinda like a two
piece set of Long Johns made from one of Tony's miracle fabrics for
wearing under the wetsuit in cooler water. Comes with short or long
sleeves and knee length bottoms.
Hey Tony,
Not only does Coral Reef make a (vastly) superior and long
lasting wetsuit ..... Tony (& son Shane) also make what he calls a
'heater' for under the wetsuit.
I am a big guy that owns a wetsuit that is a huge challenge to get out of. Coral Reef came up with a wonderful solution at a price that was super reasonable. I don't think I have ever been treated as well as this. I will never go anyplace again. Coral Reef has a lifetime customer. Thanks for the great job. John G. Tony & Shane, Was in your shop today to get my wetsuit repaired. What a great experience, only took about 15 min. or so and a good deal. Your store has a lot of tiki stuff I could use....be back soon......thanks! Barry
Hi Tony - talked to you over the phone and have a
suit from you guys that just too big now as I have lost weight.
Its about 7+ years old and perfect, held up great and warm.
Looking for a new suit and just want to get the best fit with out
custom if option. Just email or call what's easy for you as I know
you're busy. Jon
Thanks for getting the suit out so fast. Its Jon from North Carolina. I'll spread the word on the fit and quality and the durability of your suits. Guys like you are what makes doing business easy. Tony, Her are some pictures from our recent 15th Annual Menehune and Junior Longboard Championships, held in June. The contest was awesome, it was hot and sunny, good vibes all over the beach, and was blessed with great waves between 2‘ to 4‘ at the Boneyard!!!! Most of the proceeds went to the Ronald McDonald House of Orange County, with the rest of the proceeds going to our Doheny Longboard Surfing Association’s Scholarships Program. The picture of the young boy holding the Coral Reef Wetsuit has a pretty neat story to it. He had told me earlier in the day that he had taken two dollars out of his piggy bank to buy a couple of raffle tickets. After he had bought the two raffle tickets, he told me that he “wanted only to win the surfboard and one of the Coral Reef Wetsuits”. Well Tony, half of his wishes came true. He was an extremely happy young man to go home with a cool surf trophy (yes, he placed 3rd in his division), and a brand new Coral Reef Wetsuit. Tony, thanks again for all of your wonderful support for the Doheny Longboard Surfing Association! Without your great support we could not put on such awesome events year after year that makes all of the participants so happy!!!! You have been such a solid supporter for over 20 years now, and that makes us so grateful to have you as a main sponsor. Bobby Knox D.L.S.A. Permit & Event Promotions

| Hello Tony & Shane,
|
||
|
I was surfing Malibu one chilly fall day in
1998 or so. I was wearing a suit (I won't mention the brand
since they gave it to me. I'll just say that clothing companies
should stick to clothing and leave the wetsuit making to the
experts). It was a nice suit, kept me warm but not real
functional for a lot of reasons. I'd already decided to make a
change. And who goes surfing by as I'm paddling out but L.J.
Richards. Later we were talking in the line up and I said, "How
do you like that Coral Reef wetsuit?". He said it was a great
suit. So that was enough for me, I walked into the Coral Reef
store just like any tourist and paid retail for this great suit.
Since I live in Florida I don't
wear a suit that often but when I do my Coral Reef has served me
well for twelve years!
I like the idea that they're made in the USA.
I still make surf trunks in the USA and there are not many of us
left in the surf industry still making our stuff in America.

Props to you and your old man, Shane, but especially for you. As a scuba diver closing on 60, I found that my trusty custom-made fifteen year-old Coral Reef wetsuit just wasn't keeping me warm anymore, especially after two weeks of repetitive dives in warm tropical waters. Came to the shop, got measured by Tony for a titanium 3/2 wet suit...and Shane, you did the rest; sewed it up so well it was sick! Wow! The suit fit like a second skin, though just a bit stiff for the first 5-6 dives (as mentioned by Tony), but after that it was heaven. 27 dives on Bonaire in June, and more dives on Moorea, Tahiti, this November...and never felt a chill. Kudos and more! So, if anyone is looking for a superbly crafted custom-fitted American-made scuba-diving wetsuit, look no further. Shane will hook you up with a wetsuit that will rock your world! Trust me. I've bought from Coral Reel for twenty years now and have never been disappointed. Feel free to add these kudos to your 'testimonials' on your web shop page, okay? God Bless and Merry Christmas! Kevin S.

Hi Tony, At that time I mentioned that about 10 years
ago my two teenaged sons bought custom wetsuits from you.

Mr. Jones, Just wanted to drop you a note of thanks and let you know how much I appreciate your honesty and approach to doing business. It was I with a skeptical mind who brought in the old wetsuit with blown-out shoulders and wanted you to do miracles with something that was way past it's prime. Not only did you convince me not to invest good money but you also recognized my need for thriftiness and very quickly convinced me that with Coral Reef I had other options. I know it's the time for the Holidays but you're not Santa Claus so the only thing I can think of is that you truly have the Aloha spirit and went out of your way to help me out. Not only did you fit me correctly, but educated me on how to properly put on, remove, hang, and store a wetsuit. Just when I was thinking I had just got the BEST deal of my 60 year surfing life, you handed me a bar of surf wax with a smile and thanked me for doing business with you. Amazing!!!! As far as I'm concerned from here on I'm a walking billboard for the quality and good karma of Coral Reef...... My most sincere thanks and best wishes for Christmas L. Clemons Tustin

This email is about the Coral
Reef® Heater Shirt "Reefer - This rashguard rocks! I was skeptical about how much warmth it'd provide, but I was pretty shocked by how well it worked. Usually after a 2-3 hour session in the winter I'm shivering a bit in my 3/2 full suit, but with your rashguard I'm not shivering at all. The warmth was apparent immediately and lasted throughout the session. It doesn't feel bulky like extra rubber on my arms and shoulders. The "flush" from the whitewater was less than usual. There are BS products out there, but this isn't one of them. As a former NJ surfer, I'd super recommend this rashguard to anyone surfing north of Hatteras.
