Need some ideas for a great Christmas gift this year?

Take Corky Carroll's advice and get 'em a

CORAL REEF WETSUIT!

",,,,,,,,,,,,,,Then we get into the surf accessories category. This would include wetsuits. Wetsuits are great gifts for this time of year, as the water is freezing and you just about cannot surf without one. There are all sorts of different types and prices in wetsuits. I think you can even still get a custom one made from Tony over at Coral Reef on Beach Boulevard in Westminster. Any kind of wetsuit is a great idea, but a actual custom-made one would be a killer gift."

Jonesin' with Tony
By Corky Carroll

The other day a friend of mine called up to ask me if I knew of any good deals on property in Costa Rica. I was already to say that I didn't really know of anything there but to get a hold of my partner in our surf camp there, the infamous Don Richardo, as he lives there 9 months a year and might know of something. But then I remembered that I had just been to see my pal Tony Jones over at Coral Reef Wetsuits.....

Here is one recent story submitted to us:

Story type: Nightmare story
Name: Brandon H.

There I was on a beautiful Florida day with the waves crashing up on the shore. I was going surfing for the
first time by myself and I rented a board and wetsuit. So the rental place only had women's suits, but it wasn't too
bad and it fit me. All the men's were either way too small or way too large. So I had to get a slightly purple suit for
the surf out. Not a good experience so far. So then I get to the spot where the waves look decent. I get the suit on
and it was a hassle, since it was a full and not a springsuit. As soon as I bent down to pick out my board and my
water shoes, the butt burst wide open and I had to scramble to the bathrooms up a nearby pier (I had on nothing under
it cuz it was a hassle to put on). I went back to the rental place and said that it ripped down the butt, but they took
it and kept my $10 deposit. By the time all this happened, it was time to go back to the hotel so I ended up losing
$10 and a chance to go surfing on the perfect day.
